Veil of Rebirth is a conceptual fashion collection inspired by the extraordinary regenerative ability of Turritopsis dohrnii, a species of jellyfish often referred to as the “immortal jellyfish” for its remarkable ability to revert to an earlier stage of its life cycle.

The collection explores the idea of rebirth, transformation and the continuous cycle of life. Rather than viewing change as an ending, it presents transformation as a process of renewal a reminder that something can return, evolve and emerge again in a new form.

The delicate yet otherworldly qualities of the jellyfish became the foundation of the collection’s visual language. Its translucent body, fluid movement and intricate tentacles are translated into voluminous silhouettes, sculptural bubble hems, cascading ruffles and organic forms. Layers of fabric create a sense of movement and weightlessness, while jellyfish-inspired embroidery, prints and hand-embellished details echo the delicate structures found in nature.

The collection is intentionally developed in a black & white palette, creating a contrast between darkness and light, fragility and strength, disappearance and renewal. The restrained colour palette allows the silhouettes, textures and intricate craftsmanship to become the focus.

At its core, Veil of Rebirth is an exploration of how nature can challenge our understanding of permanence. Inspired by an organism that seemingly refuses to follow the conventional cycle of life, the collection reflects on the possibility of beginning again  of shedding one form and becoming another.
